Did you manage to see the supermoon last night?
People in Kuala Lumpur couldn’t witness much of the phenomenon as it was cloudy and rainy in some parts of the city.
If you had no idea there was this supermoon going on, or did not have the chance to go outside to take a look, here are some pictures shared around from people who managed to capture it.
I believe this pic was taken with a DSLR that could zoom 300x in order to take such a clear picture of the moon.
Pictures courtesy of amateur photographer Dr Chong Seng Fook.
This was observed from Pulau Tikus, Penang. Such beauty.
The supermoon was said to be visible from 8pm-10pm, at 9:45 pm as I was driving home after getting myself some ice cream, I looked out the window and the moon was red. I didn’t even know about this and felt a little creeped out until I checked my phone. Group chats on my WhatsApp were sharing information about this supermoon and boy was I lucky to have looked out the window.
There was also funny photo attempts my friends had shared taken of the moon.
This was taken with an iPhone 7 Plus. Not too bad, but I thought it was a Milo cereal ball in the first place.
Yummy.
