Hey, health-freaks and dieters and fresh raw food eaters! We have some news for you. As we all know, Poké Bowls are a rising trend in the food scene recently and KK is finally picking up the trend. Remember months back when we had In A Bowl@ Biru Biru Cafe? Guess what, there a new Poké Bowl place now called Super Ono!

Super Ono officially open for business on an auspicious date of 11.11.2018, though they had a soft launching on the 23rd October.

So what inspired the owners of Super Ono to start a Poké Bowl business of their own? When they tried Poké Bowl for the very first time and immediately fell in love with the whole concept and of course, their taste buds were exploding with the freshness and goodness. Since then, they are determined to have their own Poké Bowl business and thus, we have Super Ono today!

Super Ono has its own unique sauce and a slightly different twist to their Poké Bowls.

To enhance your Poké experience, Super Ono adapted a Hawaiian theme to their store, making you feel so relaxed and feeling like you are by the beach nomming on some fresh sashimi.

The Poké Bowls are priced from RM16.90 but if you’d like to have extras, there will be an additional price for the add-ons.

You get to pick your base, protein, sides, toppings, sauce and premium toppings too. I gotta say, Super Ono is pretty generous with their toppings- they let you pick up to 4 sides and unlimited toppings! Getting all the ebiko and seaweed for myself, mountains and mountains of them.

You fill out your order and pick your preference and wait for your Poké Bowl to be served. And enjoy the freshness of the sea.

If you’re not into raw fish, you can always go for the alternatives of chicken or tofu for a way healthier option.

And after you are done, if you’re looking for something sweet to nibble on, have some cakes! Try some of the Super Ono Charcoal cake while you sit and chat with your friends.

What do you think about Poké bowls? Are you yay or nay over them? If you have not tried them, come on over to Plaza 333 and give Super Ono a taste and let us know if you like it!
