This hidden gem is tucked in Taman Cantek and is waiting to be discovered by laksa lovers. Known for its delicious and dense bowl of Kuching laksa, pick your base of noodle or meehoon and enjoy the juicy, fresh prawn as you slurp away.

A laksa is not a laksa if it doesn’t create a beautiful mess. Don’t be fooled by the looks of this laksa, take a sip of the broth and it will pleasantly surprise you. Not your typical Sarawak laksa here. The broth of this laksa brings a zest of sourness, but in a good and refreshing way.

Although known best for its fish noodles, Kedai Kopi Sin Houng Kee serves a good bowl of laksa too! If you’re up early way too early and crave for a bowl of fish noodle or laksa, come over here as it opens as early as 6am!

When it’s so good you can just have it “kosong”. The laksa of course comes with ingredients- shredded chicken, omelette and fresh prawns. Foodies, if you want to sink your teeth in this laksa, be sure to come early. Although it opens daily, it only opens for a mere THREE hours- from 7am-10am only! Get there early!
